is it grief?

My brother passed away, a couple days before my birthday.

His memorial service is tomorrow.

We had a complicated relationship.

I did use bereavement time and sadness hits out of nowhere.

Today, I had grand plans to do all this stuff but alas; I just slept for most of the day.

I did get up in time to travel to get a tie for his service at the new Ross that just opened. (New to Michigan) 4/10 would not recommend.

I’m hopeful that things look up soon.

What is the last thing you learned?

My older brother passed away this week.

Complicated relationship. Been ill for awhile.

I’m happy that most of his kids were able to be by his bedside.

I learned that death will happen to the people we care about, no way around it.

lost another friend to the virus

confronted with mortality

makes me feel

too much

masculinity makes me want to hold it in

crying under my skin

go away virus

you’re taking so much away

the universe has picked me to stay

I wish I can take your pain away

make it vanish.
